This moderated Q&A will introduce legal operations, what it is, why it matters, and how it supports the business of law. Through a personal journey from paralegal to legal ops, the session will highlight practical lessons on career growth, transferable skills, collaboration, process improvement, and adapting to change in the legal industry.

Leana Lares is a legal operations professional with a background as a paralegal. She brings a practical, service-focused perspective to improving how legal teams work, communicate, and collaborate. Her career path reflects the evolving opportunities within the legal industry and the value of operational thinking in legal environments.
Cancellation/No Show Policy:
Due to the contractual requirements imposed by the venues and caterers we use for our in-person events, cancellations are required to be made no later than 12 PM at least four days before the event. Cancellations for our webinars must be made at least 24 hours before the event.
Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to hmpa.office@gmail.com. Any cancellations not made by the deadline will be non-refundable.
